JOURNEY TO KYTHERA

JOURNEY TO KYTHERA is an interactive CD ROM documentary, and was produced by ALEXANDRA ERMOLAEFF as part of her Honours Thesis in Communication at the University of Technology, Sydney, in 2001.

This installation examines the experience of the three Kytherian - Australian women who make a journey to Kythera, Greece, to explore their symbolic island home, culture and traditions. It reflects how these women construct their identity through their life stories and explores the possibilities opened up for documentary making in the new media context.
