They also point to the growing participation of Greek Australians in the key creative processes of film making in Australia in the last three decades and chart a development in the area of cinematic representation of minority cultural identity.

Oliver Howe's Toula explores the generational and family conflicts of the late sixties through the eyes of a young Greek woman, Toula. It is one of an award-winning trilogy Three To Go, the other dramas directed by Peter Weir and Brian Hannant and is one of the first short dramas of the period to attempt a story using characters and dialogue in a language other than English.
