Part-Time Opportunities

About Greek Orthodox Community Childcare Centre

The Greek Orthodox Community of NSW (GOC) Child Care Centre is a community based Early Childhood Education and Care Service operating for over 40 years. We are a 58-place centre from 6 weeks to 6 years.

Our kitchen sits at the heart of daily life at our centre. Mealtimes are about more than nourishment-they foster belonging, routine, care, and connection. They're moments of comfort, shared stories, and genuine interactions. We prepare fresh meals each day, thoughtfully accommodating a wide range of allergies and dietary requirements.

We are looking for a warm, organised, and reliable Cook or Chef who understands that feeding children is more than a task-it is a responsibility grounded in safety, trust, and consistency. Someone who takes pride not only in preparing nourishing meals, but in creating a calm, dependable presence in the heart of our kitchen, where children feel cared for and families feel reassured.

At our core, we are a child-safe organisation, committed to the safety and wellbeing of every child in our care. We uphold and implement strict child safety protocols and policies. Our Service is committed to providing a safe environment for children and young people.
