The Greek Orthodox Community of NSW is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Greek Language Teachers to join our Afternoon and Saturday Schools across Sydney.

This is an exciting opportunity for qualified teachers, university graduates, newly arrived educators from Greece and Cyprus, and passionate individuals committed to preserving and promoting the Greek language, culture, and heritage among younger generations.

Our schools have a long-standing tradition of providing high-quality Greek language education in a supportive and rewarding environment. We are always interested in hearing from individuals who are eager to inspire students and contribute to the future of Greek education in Australia.

Casual Teaching Opportunities

Teachers are employed on a casual basis, providing flexibility and opportunities for a diverse range of educators.

What We Are Looking For

• A passion for teaching the Greek language and culture

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to engage and motivate students of different ages and learning abilities

• Strong organisational and classroom management skills

• Confidence using technology for communication and lesson preparation

• Ability to prepare educational resources using Microsoft Tools or similar software

• Relevant teaching qualifications or experience (preferred)
