The Greek Orthodox Community of New South Wales is delighted to announce the launch of its new Bayside Mothers Group, a welcoming initiative designed to bring together mothers and young children in a supportive, inclusive, and engaging environment.
The inaugural event will take place on Thursday, 16 July 2026, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Arncliffe Youth and Recreation Centre, offering local mums and their children aged 3–5 years the opportunity to connect, participate in a guided yoga session, and enjoy morning tea together.
Funded by Bayside Council, the Bayside Mothers Group has been developed to foster social connection, promote wellbeing, and create meaningful opportunities for mothers to build friendships while spending quality time with their children.
Participants will enjoy:
A professionally guided one-hour yoga session for mums and children
Coffee and morning tea
Opportunities to meet other local mothers
A safe, welcoming and inclusive community environment
The Greek Orthodox Community of NSW recognises the importance of supporting families during the early years of parenting and creating spaces where mothers can develop lasting friendships while engaging in activities that benefit both themselves and their children.
"Our aim is to create a welcoming space where mothers feel connected, supported and part of a community," Denianna said.
"The Bayside Mothers Group is about promoting wellbeing, encouraging social connections and providing families with an opportunity to learn, play and grow together."
The event is free of charge, however places are limited and registrations are essential.
